During the summer of 2005, I participated in a summer TV/Film workshop which was sponsored by the Institute of Indian Arts (IAIA) in Santa Fe, NM and Disney. A group of 20 emerging Native filmmakers were brought from throughout the United States to spend the summer making short films. I took part as a producer, editor and star of a short film called "Frybread: A Traumedy."
Summary: After a five year absence, a Native American man returns home an unemployed vegetarian. Familial chaos ensues.
